According to the Austin Police Department, a crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian on a scooter occurred at approximately 9:48p.m. on May 29th, 2022.
The APD Public Information Office stated that: “Austin Police Department (APD) Officers responded to the intersection of S IH-35 SVRD SB/E Ben White Blvd SVRD EB about a crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian on a scooter. The pedestrian died at the scene. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.”
