According to the Austin Police Department, a vehicle vs pedestrian accident occurred at approximately 4:34 a.m. on October 30th, 2022.
The APD Public Information Office stated that: “Austin Police Department (APD) officers responded to a crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian, an unidentified man, in the 6700 block of N IH 35 NB. The preliminary investigation shows that the man was in the roadway when the vehicle struck him. The pedestrian died on the scene. The driver did not stop to help the pedestrian and left the scene.”
