According to the Austin Police Department, an auto vs pedestrian accident occurred at approximately 7:41 p.m. on December 18, 2022.

The APD Public Information Office stated that: “Austin Police Department (APD) officers responded to a crash between a driver of a sedan and a pedestrian in the 1900 block of W. Ben White Boulevard SVRD. The driver remained on the scene, was cooperative, and showed no signs of intoxication. The unidentified pedestrian was taken to a hospital and later died.”
