According to the Austin Police Department, a vehicle vs vehicle accident occurred at approximately 1:51 p.m. on October 12th, 2022.
The APD Public Information Office stated that: “Austin Police Department (APD) officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Cedar Lake Dr. and Mc Callen Pass. The preliminary investigation revealed that a black Chevrolet Pickup and a silver Mazda crashed at the intersection. Both drivers were taken to a local hospital. Later that evening, the driver of the silver Mazda died.”
