According to the Austin Police Department, officers responded to a crash between a two-door car and a sedan in the 4200 block of Ed Bluestein Boulevard SVRD NB at approximately 12:08 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. The APD Public Information Office released details of the incident in an official statement: “The driver of the sedan, Denise Maxine Cunningham, died at the scene. The driver and passenger of the two-door car were taken to the hospital for injuries. This incident is being investigated as Austin’s 11th fatal crash of 2023, resulting in 11 fatalities for the year.
