According to the Austin Police Department, a vehicle vs pedestrian accident occurred at approximately 3:05 a.m. on January 14, 2023. The APD Public Information Office stated that: “Austin Police Department (APD) officers responded to a crash between a pickup truck and a pedestrian, Angela Marie Moreno, in the 300 block of E Howard Lane. A preliminary investigation shows that Moreno was standing in the inside traffic lane when she was hit by the pickup truck. Moreno died at the scene.
