According to the Austin Police Department, a vehicle vs pedestrian accident occurred at approximately 9:53 p.m. on September 17, 2022.
The APD Public Information Office stated that: “Austin Police Department (APD) officers responded to a crash between a vehicle and an unidentified pedestrian, a man, in the 1100 block of Airport Blvd. A preliminary investigation indicates the pedestrian was crossing the roadway when he was hit by an unknown vehicle. After the crash, the driver of the vehicle did not stop to help him. The pedestrian died on the scene.”
