According to the Austin Police Department, a vehicle hit a pedestrian at approximately 11:44 p.m. on June 25, 2022.
The APD Public Information Office stated that: “Austin Police Department (APD) officers responded to a fatal crash involving a vehicle striking a pedestrian in the 8100 block of S IH 35 SVRD NB. The pedestrian died at the scene. The vehicle that hit the pedestrian left the scene. The investigation is still ongoing.”
