Man Crashes into Telephone Pole Causing Train Wreck in Kyle, Texas
On January 8, 2025, at around 9:30 p.m., a 25-year-old man crashed into a telephone pole near Center Street and Front Street in Kyle, Texas just outside of Austin, Texas. He is suspected of driving while intoxicated. The crash led power lines to fall causing another vehicle to hit the lines and spontaneously flip as a result. Moments later, a train collided with the low-hanging power lines causing the train to crash.
