a.m., there was a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle on the 8300
block of Interstate Highway 35 Northbound Service Road. The vehicle that was
involved in the accident failed to remain at the scene. The pedestrian was
pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. This is the 49th traffic-related
fatality in Austin for 2025.
