According to the Austin Police Department (APD), on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at around 4:59 a.m., there was a collision between one vehicle and three pedestrians on the 700 block of E 7th Street. All three of the pedestrians were taken to a local hospital for their injuries. One of them was later pronounced dead due to the injuries they suffered from the collision. This is the 30^th traffic-related fatality in Austin for 2025.
