According to News 4 San Antonio, three people are dead and two people are injured after an industrial accident at the Port Arthur LNG site on South Gulfway Drive on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at around 2 a.m. The incident occurred while the five employees were scaffolding. The structure gave way, and three employees fell to the ground. Two of the employees who fell suffered significant injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene and the other employee was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at the hospital. Two other workers who were on the scaffolding did not fall but are suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.
