According to a report from the Austin Police Department (APD), on April 26, 2025, at around 10:44 a.m., a collision occurred between two motorcycles in the 10500 block of IH 35 Northbound. One of the motorcyclists was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The other motorcyclist did not appear to be injured at the scene. This is the 27th traffic-related fatality in Austin for 2025.
