According to a report from KSAT News, a collision occurred with an 18-wheeler on Loop 410 near the I-35 interchange and Starcrest Drive on April 29, 2025, at around 4:15 a.m. The San Antonio Police Department stated that the 18-wheeler lost control and struck a concrete barrier and several road signs. The driver was killed in the collision. The 18-wheeler was engulfed in flames, and the San Antonio Fire Department extinguished the fire. All of the eastbound and westbound lanes from the I-35 interchange and Starcrest Drive are shut down.
