At The Dog Alliance, we are passionate about improving lives through the healing power of dogs. Established in 2006, we are a 501(c)(3) donation-supported nonprofit committed to serving Texas veterans with PTSD and mobility challenges, at risk children in schools, seniors in nursing homes and the broader community by deploying our well-trained therapy and service dogs. The Dog Alliance programs include providing free service dogs for Texas veterans, therapy dogs for community locations including schools, libraries, family courts, and hospitals, and family and sport dog training classes to improve the health and happiness of humans and the dogs they share their lives with. The Dog Alliance believes in positive reinforcement and respect for every individual. Our certified trainers, holding credentials of Assistance Dogs International Service Dog Trainer, CPDT-KA, CPDT-BC, and AKC Evaluator, participate in yearly continuing education to ensure the highest standards are met. The Dog Alliance is dedicated to excellence.
