  • Austin Resident — Applicants must be residents of Austin, Texas, or its surrounding area, and provide proof of residency.
  • Proof of GPA — Students must have a high school or college GPA of 3.0 or higher are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
  • Enrollment at an Accredited U.S. College or University — Eligible applicants must be enrolled or have received an acceptance letter from an accredited U.S. college or university for the 2025 academic year and be able to provide proof of enrollment.
  • Video Submission — To be eligible, applicants are required to create and submit a 60-90 second YouTube video describing their experience as a car accident victim, whether through personal involvement, the effects of a loved one, or the loss of a loved one. If you are already enrolled, provide proof of your current enrollment at the accredited college or university you attend. As well as proof of your high school or current college GPA.
  4. Proof of Involvement in a Car Accident – Submit documentation that proves your involvement, or that of a family member, in a car accident. This information will be kept confidential and only used for verification purposes. We will not disclose any of this information to the public. This documentation could include:
    • A copy of a police report – We can help you obtain a copy of an Austin police report if needed.
    • A photograph of the accident scene 
  5. Submit Application – Make sure that all required documents and information are submitted before the deadline of July 31, 2025, so your application is eligible for review.
  6. Agree to Terms and Conditions – It’s important to review and agree to the terms and conditions regarding the use of scholarship funds to complete the application process.
